An evocative void, a negative frame in the shape of a human body — The Liberated Human Being, the Enlightened One — invites contemplation on what it means to transcend societal conditioning.
The Sanskrit term Bhanganaya, meaning “Removal of Obstacles,” forms the basis of this work. The sculpture envisions a state of awareness freed from socio-political, economic, and religious conditioning.
Through the empty frame, the observer becomes a generative force: reality emerges through perception. Natural phenomena passing through the void remind us of the impermanence of all things.
The Liberated Human Being emerges as a symbol of self-transformation through sustained, clear awareness of the world’s transitory nature.
